The resort consists of three strategically located hotels, just 50 meters from the sea: Cleopatra (277 rooms), Narcis (320 rooms), and Semiramis (185 rooms). The complex is one of the largest on the Romanian coast.

In 2023, Safir Blue Resort underwent a significant reorganization and rebranding process, during which the management team realized that a transition to a new, high-performance management system was necessary to align with the high standards that the resort's customers expect.

 

Business Challenges

 

Safir Blue Resort needed a high-performance solution, already validated on the market, given that managing a location that can host over 1500 guests is a highly complex activity on all levels.

 

From automating booking operations to efficiently informing guests and issuing fiscal documents, it was essential for the management team to have a system that could handle these critical processes effectively.

 

To choose the right solution, the resort's management evaluated several options available on the market, ultimately selecting the Pynbooking cloud platform. After making the decision, the Safir Blue Resort team proceeded with configuring the Pynbooking account, defining the entire structure of the accommodation units and associated services in the PMS (Property Management System).

 

Next, they connected through the Channel Manager with the most relevant local and international booking platforms such as Booking.com, Travelminit, Paradis Travel, etc.

 

A key advantage that made a difference for the resort in Saturn was the direct connection via the Channel Manager integrated into the PMS and the online environment, without the need to purchase a separate product that would generate additional costs.

Through the Booking Engine, the resort can now manage direct bookings and accept credit card payments. Additionally, guest data is automatically retrieved for accommodation records and fiscal invoice issuance.

 

Accommodation records no longer need to be downloaded; they are automatically sent to the guest without an operator having to take the time to compose an email for each guest individually. Additionally, the high level of automation allows for greater efficiency in the call center operations when bookings are taken by phone. The system is optimized for all types of devices, offering added flexibility.

 

"In Pynbooking, we manage bookings regardless of the source, the connection with the payment processor, accommodation records, and the automatic sending of documents via email, eliminating the need to download and compose a separate email. This functionality reduces the time spent on a reservation and allows the call center operator to quickly take the next call, significantly reducing the wait time for the caller. We also set up access codes to rooms through the connection with the dedicated app (TT Lock)," added the management team at Safir Blue Resort.
