The 53-room hotel, complemented by a villa offering 10 more rooms, provides tourists with accommodation in a boutique format, a SPA for relaxation and body treatments, as well as a restaurant and conference room.

This asset emphasizes operational excellence and personalization of relationships with guests. However, how can you focus on these aspects without a modern digital platform?
Business Challenges
Until 2022, Fabesca Boutique Hotel&Spa**** used a classic hotel management application, installed on a local server, with predominantly financial-accounting functionalities. This led to delays in updating data on online booking platforms (Booking, Agoda, Google Hotels, TravelMinit) and the impossibility of integrating with the reservation system on their website.
To register bookings, the Fabesca team processed the data manually, consuming time and generating discrepancies between actual and online availability.
That's why, in the first part of 2022, Fabesca Boutique Hotel&Spa**** decided it was time for a technological upgrade and switched to the Pynbooking cloud platform.
"We used a technologically outdated management system in the hotel and restaurants, which did not provide support for the online environment and was more focused on the accounting aspects of the activity than on operational ones. We had difficulties retrieving data from the digital agencies we work with and from our site. It required a lot of manual processing, which consumed time and blocked resources," the two managers confess.
Based on recommendations and online evaluations, Fabesca's management chose the Pynbooking platform, a cloud PMS that includes all the necessary modules for managing a hotel and complementary facilities (SPA, restaurant, conference room, etc.). The Solution
For the Fabesca team, configuring the Pynbooking account took a few days.
In the first part, the rooms, service packages, and restaurant menus were defined, and connections were made with digital agencies and the website. In the next stage, reservations from the previous software were taken over, and cash registers were integrated. After the users got used to the new way of working, the system was put into operation.
"The configuration process was simple and intuitive, and where we did not manage, we benefited from very prompt support. Everything unfolded without IT personnel on-site, including the installation of the cash registers. Pynbooking is a cloud platform, so we didn't have to worry about technical aspects; these were exclusively the provider's responsibility," says Cosmin Timocea, General Manager, Fabesca Boutique Hotel&Spa****.
Currently, Fabesca Boutique Hotel&Spa**** manages all bookings in Pynbooking's PMS, natively integrating with major global and local booking sites through Channel Manager and with its website and social media pages through Booking Engine. The site allows online payments through integration with the euplatesc processor, as well as reservations guaranteed with a card.
Price and availability updates are automatic, and prices are dynamically adjusted using the Rate Optimizer. Guests can check in/check out from their mobile phones, reducing waiting time at Reception, and thanks to the Hotel-Restaurant-Spa integration, they can order from their mobile phones the menu or desired services and choose to pay for the room.
Results
For Fabesca Boutique Hotel&Spa****, the main benefit of using the Pynbooking platform lies in the integration and automation of room sales operations (inbound and outbound), which reduces pressure on the human force in the front office and sales departments.
Through a more intense online presence, the hotel increased the volume of bookings contracted through its website by 55%.
Also, the hotel reduced the percentage of cancellations and no-shows thanks to the guarantee of reservations with a bank card, and the risk of overbooking has been significantly reduced.
Talking about the impact of technology and digitization, the two managers believe that:
